Beth, Susan, Rebecca and I made a trip to High Point yesterday to check out the last day of market. After nine hours of walking, we covered a lot of ground! We were able to see what's new with many of our vendors--they are all fabulous! I am so excited to see the new pieces. I will blog later with some of the latest trends I saw and what we have in the store that can give you that look.
When the showrooms began to close at market, we made our way over to Mitchell and Bob's (of Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams furniture) High Point home. After a day of walking, a dinner party was exactly what we needed! Chef Sean Robinson cooked a delicious meal for the guests. (I must admit my favorite course was the coconut cupcake concocted specially for one guest's birthday). Since this was my first visit to Mitchell and Bob's home, I was amazed on how serene and relaxing the layout is (you can get a sneak peek of the house in their first book, "Let's Get Comfortable"). Clean lines and minimal furnishings make the space seem larger while accommodating many guests. The Logan dining collection from Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams is the perfect solution for small spaces that host hungry guests! Stop by the showroom to see this piece in person--we have the square dining table with leaf on the floor. Click on the link to browse through the collection.
